Gay Marry It
Zany money maven Suze Orman for going on Larry King Live and breaking down why it sucks finacially to not be able to gay marry her Partner.

Abort It
Roger Clemens for going on 60 Minutes and breaking out some serious bullshit. We’re sorry, when someone sticks something in Pinko’s ass, we know what it is.

(Bonus round: We’re gay marrying Larry King’s seventh and most recent wedding for being the very uncommon Jewish-Mormon interfaith ceremony. We’re aborting, however, the mental image of Larry King in nothing but a yarmulke and funny mormon underpants.)

Abort It
Katie Holmes speaking out for … people. Or something. Sort of: “It’s important for women to support each other and communicate with each other and be each other’s friends,” the 29-year-old Holmes said. “We should be working on stopping violence for people, for everyone.”

(Bonus round two: We’re not sure what to make of this, but Rosario Dawson (from the same article that gave us Katie Holmes’ wisdom, above) apparently wrote and then for some reason read in public a poem describing New Orleans as “the vagina of America.”)

Gay Marry It
New York State closing six juvenile detention facilities and reinvesting the money in smarter and more effective alternatives to incarceration.

Abort It
New York State’s anti-smoking campaign, which features 48-year-old poster-boy Skip Legault. Skip, in spite of an amputated leg, two heart attacks and a stroke is still smoking, which makes the campaign seem like not such a smart investment in public health.
