Bill, Hillary and the Art of “Hope-boating”
Billary, in their continued attempts to destroy Barack Obama’s White House bid, have just released a new negative radio commercial in South Carolina. (Hats off to TPM for both the story and the audio clip).
Two things to note here:
1: Ignore the video part. This is a radio spot, not the world’s most boring TV commercial.
2: By using actual audio of Barack Obama and taking it out of context, Billary is able to paint an extremely negative picture while still maintaining that they are “his words”. This is a very clever tactic and by employing it here Billary has taken us to a new record low.
We fully expect this will only get worse if Hillary does well in South Carolina.
FYI, Hope-boating is © 2008 Pinko Magazine.

Oh, I called it…
“This ad straightforwardly uses Sen. Obama’s own words in his own voice…” Clinton spokesman Mo Elleithee said.
Yuck.
It makes me sick to my stomach and yet its only going to get worse.
