My friend Hilary got a bunch of us into a “Dead Pool.” You go online, pick 10 celebrities you think will die in the next year, then wait. There are point calibrations based on the age of the celebrities (i.e. Al Gore dying nets you more points than Gore Vidal) and based on popularity in your league (I.e. Britney Spears — you probably split the points. Britney Murphy, you’re in better shape) It’s totally fun and I’ll be rooting for the premature demise of Zac Efron, Haley Joel Osmont and Shakira, among others.
