Mark your calendars: March 6th, we die.

Has anyone else been following this:

A Navy cruiser in the Pacific Ocean will try an unprecedented shoot-down of an out-of-control, school-bus-size U.S. spy satellite loaded with a toxic fuel as it begins its plunge to Earth, national security officials said yesterday.

Should we be worried? It’s an interesting story and there’s a conspiracy theory too. A big time gay peace activist quoted in the piece, Michael Krepon of the Gay Henry L. Stimson Center, said that “there has to be another reason behind this,” noting that there has not been a single human being who has been harmed by man-made objects falling from space. Perhaps we’re killing aliens?
