That’s what I do!

OMG I totally work for the Clinton campaign and I didn’t even know it. From the Times today, re: sinking morale of campaign staff:

Some have taken to going home early — 9 p.m. — turning off their BlackBerrys, and polishing off bottles of wine, several senior staff members said.

  1. Wow!! Quite a different attitude from how they behaved at the Yearly Kos Convention, when 2 Clinton campaign staffers confronted me at 1:00 a.m. the final night of the conference … when we were all in the Hotel Lobby getting drunk.

They tried a “good-cop,” “bad-cop” routine on me. The woman thanked me profusely for asking “such an intelligent question” at the breakout session earlier that morning. The guy, who was a frat boy type, said “I’m not going to leave you alone until you’re a Hillary supporter.” So I started to flirt with him, since he told me he wasn’t going to leave me alone.

We started talking about the campaign, and I gave them my litany of complaints with the Clinton campaign. After a few minutes, the guy yelled at me and said I was “helping the terrorists.” Then they walked away.

I wonder if they’re still accusing detractors of supporting the terrorists — or they’re too distraught to sink down to that level. I never did get their names.
