I have been a life long supporter of the objectification of women, as well as the matching of one’s sneakers to one’s ballcap. However, there are certain music video trends which I simply refuse to get behind. I take particular issue with the latest pop-culture parody of American excess: stretch SUVs.

Lil’ Wayne has taken it many steps to far in his latest video “Lollipop”. In the video Lil’ Wayne and Static (Lil’ Static?) actually have to jump in order to board their massive stretch International CXT. If you aren’t familiar with the CXT, its more or less indistinguishable from International Truck’s line of tractor trailers. To put it another way, its kind of like a super-sized Hummer for men whose penises are so small they would be classified by most health-care providers as vaginas. I can only imagine the statement a stretch CXT makes about your junk.

It gets better! Here is an excerpt taken from the International Trucks website (emphasis added):

You didn’t reach the top by cutting corners. You got there by staying the course no matter how tough the road. So climb in the truck that matches your grit and determination.

Either Freedom’s Watch is now in the truck making business or International Truck’s ad agency is making fun of them and they haven’t caught on yet. Whatever the case may be, this kind of stuff has no business on MTV. MTV is for music only! Lil’ Wayne, if you are reading this, I hope you will denounce and reject this kind of automobile.

On an unrelated note, I think that making the nation’s youth think face tattoos are cool is hilarious! Keep up the good work on that!
