Rob Lowe?
In a clear attempt to divert attention from John McCain calling his wife a trollop and a cunt, Rob Lowe has announced, via Huffington Post natch, that he is being blackmailed for $1.5 million dollars by a former in-home worker (nanny? chef?) who will accuse Lowe and his wife of “a vicious laundry list of false terribles” if she doesn’t get the cash. I don’t know why Huffington Post is the place to announce this. Or what “false terribles” include. Or how the blog post turned into a discussion of this “world of walled off cubicles” and Rob Lowe’s wife’s rabbi. I’m not really even sure why I’m blogging about it. But if you’d said to me this morning, Ben, tonight you’ll be blogging about Rob Lowe’s blog on HuffPo about how he’s being blackmailed and sought counsel from a rabbi, I’d have said, “no way,” and thus, I’ll hit publish.
