Too Hot For MoveOn.org

MoveOn.org took a note from Barack Obama’s positive style and requested that all submissions to their Obama in :30 competition be “positive ads about Barack Obama, not attack ads about others.”

But what fun is that?

In flagrant defiance of the rules, Misplaced Planet’s submission is more like an over the top attack on John McCain. They’ve also managed to get in a few sharp digs against Hillary Clinton while they were at it. No wonder MoveOn chose to pass…

Damn, your headline got my hopes up — I thought it was going to be a lot more sassy than that. Did MoveOn seriously think that ad was not acceptable for publication?? Come on, it’s not like the “Bush-is-Hitler” parody that they got in trouble with a few years back.
