The first in Milwaukee “For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country,” and then later in Madison (undoubtedly reading from the same speech) "For the first time in my adult life, I am REALLY proud of my country.” To my ears neither of these are particularly offensive. The issue is that the first clip was taken out of context and played ad nauseum on Fox News. Of course john McCain has all but said the same thing re: not loving his country until he was "deprived of it's company" but that's off limits since he couldn't keep his plane in the air and some really mean people used advanced interrogation tactics on him.
