I’m not sure what this has to do with activism, hedonism, politics or being a pinko commie but today was VERY tiring so I got home and was overjoyed to find a Law and Order, SVU marathon on TNT. Nothing like a sex crime and a little B.D. Wong to take the sting out of a long day! It’s comforting too because Law and Order is basically all my mother watches, and she makes a compelling case why “SVU” has far outpaced the rest of the properties as the most entertaining.
ANYWAY accordingly I’ve been obsessed with Mariska Hargitay (Jayne Mansfield’s daughter wtf!) and while watching episode three in the marathon I looked her up on a little world wide website called google.com, and was surprised to find that she has an entire, extensive, insanely-illustrated website: Mariska.com.
The site is strange because it’s almost all illustrations except for one terrifying glamour shot-style photo, and there is a relatively humiliating page of inspirational quotes ranging from Helen Keller to lyrics from You Gotta Be by Des’ree and there are screensavers and a blog and self-care tips for girls and this site is so LOADED with shit it’s unreal. The most surprising feature to me: Mariska t-shirts that are made by Mariska herself! They have patches and inspirational words and they start at $55 and they’re amazing. Does anyone have one? Should I order one and model it for a Pinkomag.com fashion shoot? THEN will you comment if I do? Anyway the point here is that Mariska Hargitay finds the time to make tshirts and I think that’s crazy.

Actually she doesn’t make them herself a relative/friend of hers does, Mariska doesn’t have the time. They are great shirts, I have two which I both got as gifts.
I love the word Hedonism, have you ever visited the Hedonism 1 or 2 resorts in Jamaica WI? It’s clothing optional so you don’t need to pack a suitcase LOL.

Dude homegirl does EVERYTHING…she works for like a ba-jillion organizations…has her own foundation…speaks like quatro languages and I barely see her little adorable nugget with a nanny! She’s like the bionic woman!
