PINKO DAILY BRIEFS: It’s Friday! Here’s what’s up: There is no bailout package yet so we’re still going to have a great depression. The conventional wisdom now is that McCain going back to DC may have actually tanked the proposed bailout. My thought: Republicans are holding up the bailout so they can pass it later and make it look like McCain saved the day. We’ll see. Accordingly we don’t know if there is a debate tonight, but we know Barack Obama will take questions at the debate site at 9PM from someone. Also: Tomorrow is the national Green Jobs Day of Action (read about it here, with some good thoughts on the bailout) and Clay Aiken is still mad gay.
