When Plants Attack!
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice and… OK, seriously. Are you fucking kidding with this shit?
Recently John McCain and Sarah Palin’s rallies have seen more then their fair share of creative outburst from the crowd. During speeches that practically ooze bile, members of the audience have yelled out “Terrorist!”, “Kill him!” “Treason!” and “Off with his head!”
Off with his head? Seriously? Has Barack Obama been painting roses red or some shit?
All of a sudden what had been a shocking, depressing and hateful trend becomes something much more like the work of a bad liar. Did I mention that all of these outbursts happened within suspiciously close proximity to a microphone?
I think it was Josh Marshall who first raised the possibility that this was all the work of campaign plants. After this most recent outburst, it’s hard to see it as anything else.
