Tuesday Briefs: Three weeks.

PINKO DAILY BRIEFS: The conversation now has clearly shifted to an Obama win, which makes me very uncomfortable this soon but the numbers DO look good and John McCain just looks so totally lost. One thing to watch for is an effort by the right starting now to paint a potential Obama win as “stolen,” the product of voter fraud and illegitimate black turnout. Republicans are also dropping millions on once-safe Senate races in an effort to keep the Democrats from getting to 60 seats. Wouldn’t that be crazy, winning all those seats and then having to actually govern!?  I’d rather listen to what Roseanne Barr has to say. Or maybe watch Sarah Palin get booed again at that hockey game. Oh and also? No shit but we kind of nationalized our banks.

  1. I know this is all very scary. But seriously. There is a ton of good news right now for Obama, and by extension our country. I know we liberals don’t do “winning” well, but it is looking like a better than fifty-fifty chance we could have a democratic president pretty soon. That’s scary! With Bush gone, who will we yell at??

But yeah. For now, let’s not get cocky. Let’s get ourselves to the polls and do our jobs.
