I don’t think “fascism” is so much an “ugly” word in this context as an “accurate” one. And you gotta love Pat Buchanan’s tenuous grasp of reality.
Crikey! I lay awake at night feeling uneasy about the horrible things that might happen if something untoward happens to either candidate. This country would go up like a bundle of matches. Posse commitatus! Martial law! The horror, the horror! If it does come to pass, then Ben will vouch that I called it back in March. I’m a little paranoid, I suppose.
Blech. I hate to say it but this kind of talk out in the open really makes me anxious. KVH is right, nobody’s talking about it and Buchanan even refuses to discuss the issue. Get your bomb shelters and MREs ready, all.
