Monday afternoon reading.
A few days late in posting this, but our friend Joseph has an interesting piece that ran earlier this month in the New York Press about two gay Iraqi refugees who are seeking asylum in the United States and are currently living in Brooklyn. Joseph must have had some fun; he spent a quality night in Chelsea with the pair and from the photo that ran alongside the article they are not hard on the eyes. More importantly though Joseph went into the process of how refugees get asylum, the roots of the crisis, and the U.S. activist who went out and made it happen.
Read it! READ IT. I don’t see you reading it. That’s better.
