It's so good. A colleague noted this piece by Andrew Gelman as his favorite to date explaining "how Obama won." Warning, it's not inspiring at all -- just some solid, hard numbers and the story they tell. Speaking of numbers, remember "Real America," the North Carolina county Sarah Palin was so glad to visit? 57-41 Obama. Another good number? 30. God bless a list and The New Republic has the 30 most influential people in Obama's Washington. Basically the deal is this: the election just ended Tuesday, but the Obama people have moved ahead with rapid speed to put a government together. That's where the action is now ... who gets what post, who gets named where. It's dizzying ... after 8 years of Bush, there is an almost desperate rush to surface ideas and proposals that have been gathering dust. But the politics and news story right now is who Obama will pick. Oh ... and what kind of puppy they'll get.  One entertainment item: I was a huge Sex and the City Fan. SATC trivia? I'll kick your ass. But please, please, please god after that movie last Spring please ... stop them before they strike again.
