Last February I blogged about meeting some Tokio Hotel fans outside of my office, which adjoins a New York music venue. The line was the longest I'd ever seen for a concert there, and these kids were EXCITED. Totally gothed-out, suspender clad and bleached-blonde, Tokio Hotel fans meant business. We got emails in droves from fans who didn't appreciate being made fun of, or were irritated that I was over-sexualizing the young sinewy lead singer. As it turns out, I developed a fantastic strategy for increasing Pinko website traffic real respect for Tokio Hotel fans. They come to your website in droves anytime you mention Tokio Hotel! are devoted to their favorite band, emotionally unstable thoughtful and really, anytime. Try it: TOKIO HOTEL fun. In May, Tokio Hotel fan Alison Kaulitz posted the most awesome comment we've ever received, and I promised fans that if enough of them signed up for our email list, I'd do a monthly Tokio Hotel watch and give updates on the band. They signed up in droves. But I didn't keep my end of the bargain, and haven't blogged about Tokio Hotel once. It's rude, it's wrong, and I'm sorry. Six months later, though,  the election is over and Pinko traffic is plummeting. Seriously. Even tagging posts "Ron Paul" or "Vanessa Williams nipple slip" aren't helping I've had a change of heart. It's important to keep my word. Accordingly, we're so desperate. Seriously. "Viagra now" isn't working. Tagging that post about community organizing with "hot lesbian sisters - see their first time" isn't working. What do you want, SEXY TEENAGE VAMPIRES? Tokio Hotel (via Wikipedia) is a German pop/glam rock quartet. Their 2008 album Scream helped earn them the MTV Best New Artist Award. OKAY, SO THIS IS A "WATCH." WHAT ARE THEY UP TO!? Well they had a big long shhh world tour, but the big news now is the behind the scenes (omfg!) DVD Caught on Camera. It gives a peek backstage during their recent tour, and previews some new songs that are under consideration for their third album. The DVD is nothing like the sort of thing I'm usually talking about when referring to teenage boys "backstage" or "caught on camera." ARE THEY TOURING!? Yes! In Phoenix (poor kids) and then LA. Then it's back to Germany! WILL THEY BE ON DICK CLARK'S ROCKIN' NEW YEARS EVE? I hope so! Not sure yet. WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH DICK CLARK ANYWAY? Shhhh. SO BEN, CAN WE GET A VIDEO? Of course!
