PINKO DAILY BRIEFS: Did you get all the gifts your heart desired and eat figgy pudding? I made a delicious turkey from the Green Market YUM. A few brief reads today. First, check out these wild new buses London is getting! Here in the U.S., concerns are growing that the stimulus is going to be too focused on roads and not transit. I haven't seen a good place to take action on this but I'll look around today; it may be also that transit projects are harder to get off the ground? I don't know but my hope is Obama does a mix. Krugman has a good column today on the coming philosophy and how Obama can sell this "good government" idea. TPM has an interesting debate going on the new political alignment and the fault lines next year. Politico has the 10 ridiculous political figures they'll miss in 2009. Lastly, this guy needs to quit it.  Over the next few days we'll be offering a surfeit of lists, listicles, top tens, best of's, etc. It should be totally fun! Keep checking back.
