PINKO DAILY BRIEFS: Years ago PinkoStirling and I worked on a campaign together called "Your Vote, Your Choice," where we were trying to get young people to vote by making extremely bright posters and giving them condoms. Good formula, right? Unfortunately our client skimped on the budget and we had to order these neon condoms from China that were clearly marked "For Demonstration Only," which didn't even make sense! The condoms were like ... not even paper thin. These things came with AIDS and pregnancies included. That's how bad they were. I'm getting chlamydia right now just thinking about them. Anyway this morning the fantastic Steve Clemons has a piece up about the U.S. Government off-shoring it's condom purchases to China. Steve's post is an argument about jobs, not condom quality, and he has a good point. The step would move  300 good jobs somewhere else. Why do this now? I'm sure these condoms will be safer than the ones Stirling and I tried to distribute across American college campuses, but it's still bad policy. What else today:  That's all we've got EXCEPT, after the jump is the greatest thing that's ever happened, the American Tea Party Anthem. It's "the National Rallying Cry of the movement against president Obama's outrageous government over reaching stimulus package" and it's amazing. Watch. Every. Second. Oh! Also if you're in New York I'm going to see this band tonight they're great! Come with me.
